@WriteSeth, you raise a very good point. I suppose BYOD isn't the best for all businesses.

Likewise.  due to HIPPA, our BYOD policy is pretty much don't.  The risks and the headaches that come with it is too great.  The hospital would have to report an incident everytime someone lost a device, even if there wasn't a breach.

Our BYOD program does not include MDM (Mandatory Mobile Device Management), except that we frown upon accessing company networks using untrusted third party remote connection apps. Or storing confidential company information on third party apps.
